Palak Paneer







Ingredients:-

  • 300gms spinach(palak)washed leaves
  • 1 cup dry fruits
  • 300 gms cheesw paneer
  • 1 piece ginger chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 3/4 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
  • 1/4 turmeric powder
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tbsps ghee, 1 pich safoetida
  • 1/2 cup green coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk, salt to taste

Procedure:-

Put Palak leaves in a mixer to prepare puree.Put all the dry fruits in milk and make a smooth paste.Heat ghee in a frying pan and saute heeng and jeera, then add onion, ginger , garlic and hari mirch and fry for 3-4 minutes. Stir well while frying. Add lal mirch powder, dhania powder, halsi and salt and fry for a minute. Then mix the meva paste(dry fruits)to it. After frying on low flame for 4-5 minutes add to it tomatoes and fry for 2 minutes. Now add palak puree and boil. Add coriander leaves and garam masala powder and cook for 2 minutes, then slip paneer pieces in the gravy and remove the pan from heat. After 5 minutes serve hot.
